New courses for 1997

In line with Ultracomp's ongoing commitment to provide training, which enables your staff to deliver competitive IT services that support your core business, Ultracomp is developing further courses for 1997.

Network Service Management

The network elements of any configuration are critical to the provision of timely information to both local and remote customers. However this aspect is often overlooked when implementing Service Management disciplines. The author of the ITIL module has developed this course to provide guidance on the practical application of Service Management disciplines in a local and remote networked environment.

Business Management

As IT Services become more business orientated staff and managers need to have a combination of service and business skills. Ultracomp has been commissioned to produce an ITIL module on Business Management which will form the basis of a course to compliment the ISEB/EXIN accredited Service Management training courses.

Service Management

Practitioner Modules As part of the ISEB/EXIN initiative to enhance its current Service Management training, Ultracomp will be offering ISEB/EXIN accredited Practitioner modules. The aim is to provide practical advice on the implementation and integration of individual Service Management disciplines. Each module will have its own certificate and allow delegates to work at a more gradual pace towards the full ISEB Service Management qualification.

Project Management

To implement a fully integrated approach to Service Management is a major project requiring staff with both Service and Project Management skills. Ultracomp is currently seeking accreditation to deliver Project Management training, with the option for delegates to obtain the ISEB certificate in Project Management for Information Systems.
